Android, Gadgets, Smartwatch

Tag Heuer officially announced that they will team with Google to launch their Tag Heuer Connected smart watch. Its the first Android Wear timepiece. The Connected isn’t just any average Android Wear watch, however. The luxury smart watch will be priced at $1,500. It will be made from titanium and resemble a Tag Heuer’s analog watch.

The watch was designed to look like a luxury watch other than a smartwatch. So your fancy friends won’t question your class when they see you checking your twitter feed during the 4th quarter conference call. Due to the titanium construction watch as a light feel on the wrist.

The “transflective” display makes it readable in direct sunlight, plus has an always on mode to display the time. The watch runs Android Wear software like other smartwatches from Motorola, LG, Samsung, Huawei, and others, but the Tag watch has exclusive watch faces and a handful of apps for it. The overall capabilities of the Connected are similar to other smartwatches like the Moto 360 or some other Android Wear watch.
